Red Fletcher 155 Arrowsport on a white trailer. (15.5ft).

It's called 'Permanent Waves', this is written in white on the side, however the tw@ts might try to remove that.

It's got a marble effect white/beige interior.

The b@stards stole it from by the Marina in Pwllheli, North Wales last night. If you get offered this or ever see it please e-mail me and there will be a reward if it's recovered.

Not a happy chappy.

Picture is on my mate's thread on the Lancer register - http://www.lancerregister.com//showthread.php?s=794a488d189f03b86cc98f64920f6535& postid=261999#post261999

It's half his boat too.

Cheers,
Adrian.

By the way, my mobile number is 07879 485548 is you find anything out.

If I catch up with the people that took it they will learn how it feels to have an 80hp Mercury engine driving a propeller where the sun don't shine. The boys will be unleashed to do their worst.

Good luck mate.

What is it with these scum types, weren't they slapped hard enough as kids or something when they tried to knick sweets from the local newsagents?

B@stards!!! I am going to Windermere this weekend, i wll keep my eye open.

We had a boat stolen a few years ago off our front drive, they tried to nick my car aswell which was blocking it in, but they couldn't start it as it was fecked at the time. The police got some finger prints off my car and eventually caught one of the scum bags who got put away for it as he had other pending convictions. We did eventually get the boat back after the scum bag who was put away told the police where it was taken, Weston supermare. Thw tw@ts got it stuck in the mud and siezed the engine up and had to be rescued. Rather than pay for the rescue they paid the marina by saying they could buy their range rover off them at a discounted price, which they did, and which also turned out to be knicked. We got the boat back after 18 months with a seized engine and had to pay the recovery costs.

Bad news. At least it is red and not too many red ones about so should make it easier to spot. Difficult to paint fibreglass at the best of times and pretty obvious on a boat, easy to lift the carpets and such to check the original colour.

any serial numbers or such???

Likely to get broken down, ie engine sold seperately to hull.

I had a red 160GTO for a while and it certianly stood out from other boats. Good luck!

The boat is half mine and half Dave Henshall's (the Terror Chase Driver) lol.

We have the serial numbers of the hull and the engine so basically if anyone sees a blue stripe (early 80s) 80hp Mercury outboard or a red 15.5ft Fletcher hull for sale or around and about that could be ours.

Thanks for your support guys, nobody likes a thieving tw@t! I'm not sure if we'll get the insurance for it because of some complications so it looks like my new house will have no kitchen when I move in!

We've got the serial numbers from both the hull and the engine, however my guess is that these will be such obvious indentity marks that they will be removed. The funny thing is that as soon as these are removed the boat will look dodgy and insurance will be difficult to get.

If only we had the power to decapitate tw@ts who feel it's their right to steal someone's pride and joy. My mate and I spent a whole winter restoring that boat, putting stainless reinforcement on everything etc etc. Having it stolen, particularly when there are boats parked nearby that are unlocked and 'ready to go' is not what we expected. How silly of us!

Adrian

I used to have a boat and know a few mates who have them. I have printed this thread off (hope you dont mind) and asked them to keep their eyes peeled. Trouble is, we are now out of season

Ps I live in Warrington, hope you get it back mate.

PPs If you do find out who nicked it, give me a bell. I would like to meet them and rip their feckin faces off.

Bstds - the boat sitting right next to mine was taken at the start of the season, luckily it was recovered at a car valeters locally. My boat had 2 wheel clamps and a hitch lock on - the stolen boat had nothing, you cant make it easy for these as***les.
I have mailed your boat description around all our club members (West Mids Waterski Center) and will let you know if anything turns up.
