Fuji Finepix 602 lense attachment tube
#1
I hear you can buy an aluminium tube that fits to this camera and allows you to attach other lenses? Has anyone bought one of these and are they any good / what lense fitments do they take?

It gives you a 55mm thread that you can fit filters, lenses etc on.
I'd say it's essential! The most important thing is to get one and leave it on with either a UV filter or skylight as this protects the lens mechanism from dust and other crap.
Lens-wise, you can get a 2x zoom or .6x telephoto IIRC, both are around 80 quid, and in some cases they include the adaptor.
Cheers,
Nick.

DABs.COM have the Telephoto *1.5 Fuji original for £81, this includes the extender tube you were asking about. They also do a wide angle lense for the 602 for about the same price.
The tele-photo takes the 602 to about a 300mm lense equivalent, works well, most of my Rally shots HERE are taken with a S602 and a telephoto.

All these are taken with S602? They are really, really good, some stunning in fact! What settings do you use or do you do things 'on the fly'?
I am really only a beginner and up to landscape / close-up shots at the moment. That said I think a few would stand up to scrutiny. Email me if you wanna see some (thinks what am I saying, other peoples holiday photos... yeah right!).
Cheers
