Do you think it's acceptable to have more than 1 boyfriend/girlfriend/husband/wife at the same time?? (and I don't mean 3sums or swinging!!! LOL)
Just thought I'd ask the general opinion on here as a guy I work with always has 2 or more women on the go and I've had a bit of a go at him about it!!

personally no-
Unless its agreed to be an 'open' relationship or the other person is cool with it, i dont think its a good thing.
(edit-if they are just f*ck buddies/casual/whatever then its a different kettle of fish to a relationship...)

Hello
But most people are not happy with "open" relationships. So if you want more than one person then you have to keep it secret.
Is it right? Not if you are married, certainly. If you are not, well, it's sort of okay.
Steve.

Just asking....
if all people in the group know about each other and dont mind...then no...fair play to them.
Sexywrx....like thats ever the case.
There's guys (and women) at work also seeing people at work(while they have partners at home too).I dont agree, but there's no point in getting involved, just not worth the aggro.
Tip.....never trust a guy who carries more than one mobile.

I have two mobiles too, one for work and one personal.
I do remeber flat sharing with a friend who had 2 girlfriends and to complicate matters they were both called Vicki. This was fine if one phoned up whilst he was out with the other as I could tell him the other phoned whilst he was out.
However if one phoned whilst he wasn't out with the other it was more cmplicated as when he got in I'd say "Vicki called", he'd say "Which one?" I'd say "How do I know? I can hardly ask them which one they are!"
Eventually of course he was caught out and dumped by both.

I reckon that If one of the partners is "Proper" and the other is a bit on the side, then that's not really right. If however all parties are single and just having fun (Remember that everyone ) then there's nowt wrong with it.

In an ideal world id say its wrong, but in this world where nobody is REALLY trustworthy unless they think they onto a winner and cant do any better you may as well...
TBH i always feel im doing badly if theres only one bird on the go, even 2 dont feel too dodgy, its the way these days i guess.
Ive got various different phone numbers, sim cards, e.mail addys, everything to try keep it as smooth as possible, hell ive even gave different names, ages, etc and drove different cars if i think its too close for comfort.
Blokes get all the stick for this, but birds are just as bad, prob more common with birds as they get hit on more than men, so they get the oppertunity to cheat even if they wernt looking to, whereas unless a bloke gets chatted up hel only get the oppertunity if he looks for one.
Blokes n Birds do it different tho, blokes can and will string along 2 or more birds who think they their "girlfriends" wheras birds will just either cheat on their bloke with random jimmys knowing its jus sex, or they cheat on their bloke while trying to dump him (or working out if the new bloke is better thanthe old one!)
BTW, good idea to not get caught is to try n space em out, 1 or 2 birds from every local town, otherwise in the end they gona cross paths somewhere (usualy a club) and u look like u cheating to both of em and all hell breaks loose. Listen to the Ludacris song "Area Codes" it has a message... lol

Here's my view on it.
If it's an open relationship and both people are totally fine with it, then fair enough not a problem. If it's not an open relationship then it's totally out of order. if you are with someone, you are with them, end of story. If you have to see someone else then there is some problem with your relationship that either needs to be worked out, or it's time to call it a day, to me it is as simple as that.
I personally could not deal with an open relationship, I'm not built like that, if I'm with someone that's it, I'm commited to them 100 percent, if it does not work, and cannot be fixed or does not want to be fixed, for whatever reason, then, hard as it may be, it's time to move on, and sometimes that is very hard indeed, but in the end you accept it and move on. This might explain my comments on this subject, as I could not be in a relationship like this.

Red dog,Open relationship will allow people to do so but to my understanding, it will not be a "relationship", it will be an arrangement.Your workmate is taking a **** and his girlfriend is very unlucky if she takes him seriously by a centimeter!
Sorry, had to edit crap spellings!

We have all done it at some time, my record was 5 on the go when i was much younger but i was open 'ish' will each of them.
Go for it,is my opinion, have your cake and all that.
BUT once married behave, and enjoy the steak at home and not the hamburger when out.

I think we need to difrerenciate between 'partners' and 'f*ck buddies'. I have had more than one f*uck buddy at the same time, that is to say someone who you see on a casual basis and both understand it is not mutually exclusive. Nothing wrong in that.
A bloke I used to work with had four on the bounce as well as his wife. And three of the four worked in the same factory as us. Some of them knew about some of the others. All knew about his wife, and his wife knew about none of them.
He ate a lot of chocolate and drank a lot of Red Bull

From today's Gruaniad:
About 42% of men and 20% of women aged 20 to 24 said they had enjoyed multiple sexual partners in the past year, the Office for National Statistics reported yesterday. The figures came from a survey on sexual health.
But far more (or less) seriously:
A growing craze for al fresco sex with strangers has led to a serious rise in sexually transmitted diseases, a health chief warned yesterday.
The practice, known as "*******", where strangers gather to watch each other have sex outdoors, is causing so much concern for health officials in Kent that they have postedmessages on the internet urging those involved to take better precautions.
Full story here.
