Kitchens,bathrooms etc.Where from?

Hi guys.Moving house next month and the place needs renovation ie kitchens, bathrooms etc etc.
Would quite like something that was'nt 'high street' brand but when I've looked at adverts in some glossy mags they say 'kitchens START from 25k'. Thats going to be more like 30k in reality and is beyond my budget. Does anybody know of some medium budget type places for kitchens, bathrooms, sofas, beds etc etc.
Many thanks, Deep.

I think you will find they are all High Street brand unless you make it yourself, or spend a fortune. The price difference between brands is dependent on quality often.
Independent kitchen fitters can get good quality kitchens at lower prices

http://www.moben.co.uk/ for Kitchens and http://www.dansk.co.uk
for sofas etc. Dansk are currently running a sale though, so they've not got the greatest selection right now..generally some nice contemporary stuff and definitely a notch above DFS et al.
If you are bored you can wander around both over at *shudder* Lakeside retail park...there's a couple other halfway-decent furniture shops there too.
You should stick with MFI though, use the savings and get a 996 Turbo

Hi guys.
Chiark, DIY ia a defo no go area for me.
Chuck, I'll try those two, I d'ont live too far from (shudder) Lakeside. I'm afraid plans for anything as exotic as a 996 Turbo are well and truly scuppered with the new house purchase!
