Do you start your car with the clutch depressed or not?

I think that I do - not sure to be honest. Getting in the car, starting up, selecting first and driving off seems to happen in a blur - can't remember any of the individual actions...

Always, every car I drive. For two reasons :
1 In case some muppet has left it in gear - some of the vans I drive occasionally have such horrible sloppy gearboxes you can't actually be certain it's in neutral. I always check but still always derpress the clutch.
2 Don't know how much difference it makes, but it must take some of the battery power to turn over the gearbox, and by depressing the clutch you save that bit of power. If your battery is a bit crap it MAY make the difference between your car starting or not.
This may of course be utter cobblers

Always put the cluctch down out of habbit now. I used to park leaving the car in gear before I had the driveway done.

Always. Otherwise if I have left it in gear I could end up through the back of the garage.

I always do.
Good thing too cos my wife has a tendency to leave the car in gear!
I know I used to on my KR1, cos that was kickstart. The ZX6 I can't remember, but I probably did.

Its not good practice really because the engine starts with no oil being fed to the crankshaft thrust bearing.
