Remember the campaign a few years ago "buy british". Well, do you?
In Europe the people, especially the French and Spanish seem to be really patriotic when buying all types of products. Dont think we Brits are the same somehow which is a shame really.
Chip.

We don't manufacture much anymore so I think trying to buy british would be very difficult.
The only thing I try and do is shop locally at my local independant store rather than going to one of the big chains in the city. That way hopefully my local town centre wont turn into a ghost town...

Cheapest directory enquiries number, 118 whatever.. is in South Africa. Nuff said. The French etc. are absolutely right to buy patriotically (is that a word?). In less than 10 years the UK will consist of the government, institute of directors and the loo-cleaner at the House of Commons, everything else will be in Delhi, Jo'berg etc. Just my humble opinion of course,
Oh and 60k buys you a four bedroom detached with a pool and lots of land in Jo'berg. Er 61k... 62k... 65k... 70k... **** wish I hadn't said anything now...

I buy whatever is best for the purpose, but given equal quality etc, I do buy British. I'm happy to pay a small premium too.
We make top class Hi Fi - arguably the best, particularly mid to high end stuff.
Cheers
