The loss adjuster bitch..errm ,I mean women came round today and basically said "yes , you can have £2k for your TV, and we'll replace the carpet and clean the sofa..

but get this.. The electronic equiptment i.e. dvd & 5.1 amp wont be replaced.. instead we're gonna give'em to a company called Chem-dry who will try to clean & repair them !!! WTF !! as far as i know chem-dry clean fabrics not electronics,these items are covered in paint and as far as i know totally fooked. What if after the "repairs" they pack up in 3 months.. I asked here if she'd have repaired stuff in her house to which she said NO.. so how come she can do this to my stuff.. FFS I'm not trying to get any cash out of this i just want my stuff replacing.

With most insurance companies you can negotiate a settlement.

Complain and see if you can get them to change their mind.

Hi mate..thx for the reply , I spoke to the insurance company and they said its out of their hands now and I should speak with the loss Adjuster company ..

I'll be on the phone to them first thing
