These people were very good, I have had a couple of cameras from them and they were cheap and quick. they have a deal on at the moment where if you buy a 42" flat screen for £2,600.00, they chuck in a 15" flat screen as well just wish I had a spare £2,600!!

My mum has just brought a new one.

It's a 36" Panasonic Widescreen with Stand, Freeview Box & Matching DVD Player for £1,299. I thought that was a great bargain for what it is!

We went to all the big department stores but they were all about £500-600 more than that for the same package!

Oddly enough I have a 36" sitting around doing nothing. Philips 36PW9525. About three years old, bought ex-dem, never skipped a
beat for me.

Has to go so 500 quid and someone who can lift 75kgs and it's yours.

Was going to EBay it but if someone from here wants it then even better.

right time to hunt out some bargins

I heard Panasonic were good, Along with Sony & Toshiba?

ANything I should look out for - I know the basics like I want 100mhz picture, Dolby Digital surround (5.1 these days?)

Anything else I need to keep an eye out for?

Infra red surround sound speakers would be cool - saves on bloody cables everywhere!

Enter the model no.s into here to get some idea of best prices. I usually buy a copy of Home Cinema Choice for the ads and reviews.
