All,

Looking around for a black tv. Must be 32" Widescreen. None of the big names sell a black TV! EVERY tv is silver

Anyway saw an ebay auction for Finlux Tv. Any good?

Didn't mind Loewe, but very expensive for what they are and I am notg paying £350 for a stand.

and don't say what about B&0.

Cheers

Jay

Finlux: not as good as they used to be. That said, they used to be very good quality.
I could find out a bit more about them from someone that works on them ( among others inc. B&O)

I got a black JVC recently, but its only at 28" widescreen.
model av-28gt1bjf according to the book.
Its a cheap and cheerfull job from Makro, but I cant fault it at all.

Saw the 28" JVC, but just a bit too small.

Can't understand why silver is so popular and they all look very similiar.

Plus, the picture on a black framed screen is higher definition IMHO

Schneider do, or used to do a 32" in black. We have a 28" one in black, and ISTR that ASDA had the 32" in while we were there buying that a year or so ago.

Thumbs up

Just spotted this Loewe 32" at empiredirect for £910.

I used to have a Finlux TV, but after the tuner failed, the engineer told me that they no longer trade in the UK and no parts were available. Got 14 years use out of it and was very happy with it. It's still running with no tuner using AV inputs at nephews house.
