My Megane used to sit at about 3800 at 70. The only time I took it above 95 and it was around about 6000k. Then the head belw and it was never the same again

Not too sure what a tonne is in mine, quite high though cos it has short gears, 80 is 4000!

The flip side is that I can ride through 30s in 5th, can drop to 20 - 25 too if needs be, great if you're a lazy ****** like me!

Oh, it's a Fiesta si btw

He had a V12 5.3 jag years and years ago (think it was first lot of N regs) and he claims 100 at 3000.

What are the numbers for a RR Silver Seraph - I seem to remember that that was geared to something like 40mph/1000 rpm and the 6 speed box in the Corvette/Lotus Carlton was equally ludicrous (or am I just talking ****?).

We went along the N16 from Calais to Brusells and clocked stupid speeds but 100mph at just over 2100rpm shocked me too.

Badge,
if 100mph is @ 2100rpm, then assuming a rev limiter at 6500rpm and no artificial speed limitation, that should produce a capability of 309.52mph.

which was nice.
could it have been kph?
that would have given a capability of 193mph.
much more possible.
Student.

100mph = 3,100rpm in an Astra ECO4!

(Hence the 81 extra urban mpg )
