Hi All

I went down the shop at dinner and the police were sat in their normal place speed trapping down the road Where they were parked and always use is on a solid yellow line with a sign similar to this

How can they nick you for an offence when they are committing one themselves? I was tempted to pull over and ask him how come he was illegally parked but couldn't be bothered at the time.

Call in that there's a vehicle illegally parked and request that it's attended to.

I don't think the policec would attend an illegally parked vehicle no matter what it was

AFAIK the plod can break most of the traffic rules in the book, as long as they are conducting legitimate duties. Double standard I know, but I think it has been discussed on here before with input from police orrifices.

Give some local kids a tenner if they let their tyres down.

While you're talking to them, drop a load of nails & screws out of your pocket. C'mon, you've gotta get 'em somehow.

I saw the bastrads down in Sainsburys supermarket. Two officers were inside talking to the customer services desk - did not seem in a hurry. Went outside and they had parked in a disabled bay right by the door. OI NO - just walk the extra 20 meters to the door like the rest of us you good for nothing wasters

Wouldn't that be great to see a disabled person park behind them and go about his/her shopping and making the police wait for their return?

I wonder if the police have the powers to insist the vehicle is moved too?
