Just wondered as me and the (not-quite-the) missus went to one about 3 weeks ago expecting old fat mingers - obviously there were a few but the rest were pretty good.

I reckon most people on here would rather let someone **** their wife than drive their car... but then again, if the other guy had something really nice, it might work. I'd turn up in a metro with the girl next door

good point Spoon...but most true swingers arent really fussy about what their chosen swingers look like. its the whole scene not individual preferences.
plus...im not full of myself by any accounts...but i wouldnt class myself as a minger.
Scooby96...im sure there are lots of people on here who would like to try swinging...altho im not sure if there are any actual hardcore swingers on here.

sorry Scooby96...i have no idea personally...im just going from programmes ive seen on swinging (good ol late night Channel 4 and 5 )
i am intrieged tho. Always seems like fun altho i wouldnt be able to cope with seeing my partner with anyone else than myself and him vice versa.

If two married people stood in a church or wherever, and took those vows, how can they justify swinging? I just don't get it. I'm not a prude or anything, but it seems strange to me.
Maybe the vows don't specifically mention swapping partners, but surely what is said implies that this kind of thing shouldn't happen in the marriage.

by going for the first time with very strict rules - ie agree what you do / dont want to do in advance even if that meant doing absoultely nothing (not that we did nothing of course)
tbh we both felt slightly uneasy about seeing the other with someone else but it went ok
