"Never heard of the make before...' - that's the point and yes, a great anorak site. However, the watches are gorgeous, believe me!

I tried on a Breitling Aerospace (again) yesterday. Still couldn't pluck up the courage to spend that much cash on a time-teller! Nice though

I would not buy a Breitling again. My Superocean Pro is in having the crown fixed, back on to the watch!!! Customer service is non existent and it has already been back for a loose bezel. Avoid IMHO.

As to Pams being a "batty" watch I have never heard of that and I know a fair bit about them. Good point about fakes - lot's on ebay.

Come on Jon, picture please! Preferably with Kate wearing it

Very nice watch, not 'batty' in any way IMHO.

Well I bought the one I wanted today. Oris Big Crown Pointer Date 40mm with rose gold. Wangled £70 off asking price too. Regardless of others opinions of Oris, I've wanted this watch for over 12 years since I bought my Maurice Lacroix. I just love its vintage looks and I'm chuffed to bits with it. The only others on my list are well out of my price bracket. IWC GST chronograph @ £2660, and Chopard Mille Miglia '99 @ £1450. They'll have to wait until long after I've bought my Scooby.

Is there a pricelist online for the Panerai watches? They look nice.
