I had my first lesson tonight! 
Didn't get much right but it was great! 
I was told that one of the instructors is fighting for the British title in my town on Saturday, I'm trying to find a mate to go along with me and watch how it should be done properly.
It's the first martial art I've done, I always thought they looked a bit boring. I was wrong.

spent 10 years doing it ruined my shins and my short term memory is shot
would do it all again though
travelled to some great places with it
ask your instructer if he remembers eugene valerio and rod reed
