Didn't even have to take it, the examiner was so impressed with my appearance and the way i read the numberplate he passed me there and then!

Maybe Tel misread the question and told us how old he was when he passed? (In which case how'd he be able to read a number plate?!) 
2nd time for me. Failed for (supposedly) insufficient use of mirrors first time, so next time moved the mirror so the examiner'd see the more obvious head movements...

1st time After only 15 odd lessons and hardly any driving the 'rents about (I scared the crap out of them

I should have failed, I reverse parked about 2ft from the curb, and botched the reverse round a corner, as it was up a hill and the clutch started screaming at me (instructors car - and it was the 1st time the clutch made that noise).

2nd time...I was *soooooooo* nervous I was failed for being to hesitant... 
Annoying thing was I saw I had two marks against me (three and you fail) so I was being very confident and gave way at a junction I shouldn't have done because I heard a lawnmower and thought it was a car!
Never mind eh?

Oh various things, I should have failed 1st time for sure, but the second was very questionable and it was still playing on my mind for the 3rd one I did, like I sould have already passed now etc... I might be lucky and not mess up 4th time, hopefully..
