ok, i have a fotonex 4000ix sl APS camera and want to sell it to buy a digi one instead.

do old cameras have any value? anyone on here know there cameras and have a guess at what a camera shop may give in p/x or what its worth in a private sale?

Suggestion:

- Find the new camera you want, and ask a couple of camera shops what they'd give you for it as a trade-in.

- Then, auction the camera on eBay, using the trade-in value as a reserve price.

That way, you can always go back to the camera shop if it fails to fetch the reserve. If it fetches more, then you've won!

Very little.......... APS was the worst bloody thing to happen to photography in years..Its expensive to buy and develope the films. Its difficult to get this film in some places.
Most places are stopping selling them.
