...and no amount of beer makes me any cooler !

Look out UK, this heatwave is heading your direction and the French weather service are predicting even hotter to come this week!!!

Pass another ice-cold beer...to pour over me head !

Wurzel, I'm in France just over the border from Geneva, Switzerland. Was watching the German Grand Prix and they said it was very hot there too. The Swiss ain't seen heat like this since they started keeping records 150 years ago and France is in a bit of a mess what with fires and water restrictions all over the place.

Hoisting a cool one at ya !!

well it's getting on for 9[m here in SW France and it is still 33 degrees. Peaked here at 40 earlier today- just too hot to do anything other than drink beer and pastis.

12 degrees sounds like bliss.

Nacro, did you catch the meteo on TF1 earlier? They reckon tomorrow it'll be 39 degrees in the shade around Montpellier, 37/38 for where I am so I reckon in the sun it'll hit 46 or 47 degrees !!! They said Tuesday would be the hottest day this week...

I'm stocking up on the ice cubes already...lots of Ricard to be sunk before the beers

That you did UB, that you did

Almost 24 hours on and we're cooking nicely (or not!) at 43.5 degrees. Tomorrow is when they said it would finally get warm

I saw 42 degrees on the temp gauge attached to the marie (town hall) today. We are frying!

My house is an old one with very, very thick walls and it is even heating up in here. I bought 48 ltrs of water from the supermarche today as we are getting warnings of mains water being turned off here for a few hrs each day in our dept of SW france!!!
