Our Sky box has suddenly decided that BBC1(East) should be occupying position 101. I have all of the other BBC1 regions down the bottom somewhere (in the 900s). Is there any way of getting BBC1(London) back in position 101?

 

Don't think so. 101 will be what Sky deem to be your local BBC1.

If you want to watch London local news you will need to either go back to analogue or go to channel 900 and something.

I'm happy with the changes as I was p155ed off watching London news and traffic reports and having to select North West whenever I was watching 101.

London isn't the centre of the universe. Accept it

Well actually we live nearer London than we do "East Anglia". In fact nearly everyone's analogue TV aerials point at the London transmitters.

It may be worth a call to Sky to ask them if they can reprogram your digibox to default to London stations.

As they've managed to reset everybodys' digiboxes to their local BBC1 it has to be technically possible to reset yours to your own preference.

Possibly worth a try?

My digibox has soent a month tuning into BBC london on 101, then earlier in the week it decided that it's going to show BBC NW like it should.

I think they do it on postcodes and send a signal to your box. A few people around me have asked Sky to change the ITV regions but Sky are saying they can't do individual requests.

the new bbc regions work on postcode
