I think you are being a little cruel here guys.
This guy has obviously put allot of effort into his car and loves it.
Just because he might no be able to afford to go out and spend tens of thousands on a subaru or the like does this mean that he has to avoid making what he drives in something he likes.
I am sure that the Ferrari mob would happily rip the **** out of comments and pictures on this board as you only have a £30K car.
Jason.

...especially there's nothing on the outisde that would suggest that it is a right little pocket rocket!
I'm sure I've seen the TUR 80 reg plate on a 911 before too - is it "oop north" somehwhere?

You guys are sounding more like Audi TT owners every minute
Snobs the lot of you.
Actually how can a Impreza driver be a snob, if it wasn't for the horrendous insurance costs I'm sure more people would be driving them as you can pick one up fairly cheap these days.

RE: question about the turbo numberplate
I saw the red micra at billing, turbo plate stuck on front, but as it drove by i noticed it had a regular 'normal' plate on back, so i assume the front plate was for show purposes only and not its real reg plate.

Don't knock it till you've tried it, a guy down the road from me who does a lot of tinkering with various motors (at last count he had 19 motorbikes of various vintage
)had a supercharged 1.3 Micra import that was kicking out over 160bhp
That is NOT to be sniffed at in something that weighs less than a real mini
btw The TUR80 plate up north is actually TUR80 W and lives on a 964 model turbo in the Poynton area, the TUR80 plate did belong to Porsche UK
