Hi,

I've just taken a 12 month contract down in Bournemouth, and I was wondering if anyone knew of some nice places to live / places to avoid? I've been looking at the poole area (east side, near b.mouth) as it's a bit cheaper than central b.mouth, and near the beach.

Avoid Boscombe (all of it), Turlin Moor, Kinson, West Howe, Alderney, Townsend and you'll be fine.

Yeah, avoid all the above mentioned by BG like the plague.

Nice areas near where you mentioned include Talbot Woods, Canford Cliffs, Branksome, Alum Chine, Lower Parkstone and Whitecliffe but most of these can be a tad pricey due to being close to the sea.
