Whats the point of this email?

Am I missing something here?, don't see any point to this. If the idea is to reply, why use something so bizzare?
Hello,
I'm a time traveler stuck here in 2003. Since nobody here seems to be able to get me what I need (safely here to me), I will have to build a simple time travel circut to get where I need myself. I am going to need an easy to follow picture diagram for a simple time travel circut, which can be built out of (readily available) parts here in 2003. Please email me any schematics you have. I will pay good money for anything you send me I can use Or if you have the rechargeable AMD dimensional warp generator wrist watch unit available, and are 100% certain you have a (secure) means of delivering it to me please also reply. It was to the email on my website.
The heading for the email was: DWG needed s qkv wpsz
Thing is the s qkv bit makes me wonder whether it's something to do with the word content of my website, as there is sqv written on my site many times.
There were loads of email addresses listed on the path for the email, which were obviously recipients too, all similar address to mine.
Can't understand why though

Put AMD dimensional warp generator wrist watch into a search engine. Seems it is just to get a reply and confirmed email address. Just seems a bizzare way to do it, surely 'click here to remove from mailing list' is a better way to get a confirmed address.
when I read about this email confirm stuff, I often see the people getting the confirmed address's are selling them to companies. Whats an email address go for these days?

Save the message to your hard disk and bury the whole computer in a sealed chest in the garden. By the time someone rediscovers the message, the technology may have evolved to actually rescue this guy.
