The Crow.

Bought it a couple of years ago when I first got my DVD player, and was amazed at the clarity of the sound compared to my old VHS version. Got Blade Runner too, of course.

Aliens - full edition. The film is long normally - why bother to hack it in the first place? It's engrossing anyway - time flies by...

The Ghost & The Darkness - slightly fictious version of events, when compared to the real-life story... but hey, Hollywood needed a Yank involved! Still a great film.

Laurel & Hardy Lost Classics

from the very early 1900's

some of there very first work, all painstakingly restored, and silent, but absolute classics, that some of them later they added the voices

Black & White really stands out on DVD's more so than Colour

Ha ha - have the same dilemma. Have it on VHS too, but each time I'm browsing for it on Heat, I end up buying something else instead.

Following on from Heat - another classic film - Manhunter. I still rate this over Silence of the Lambs and subsequent films. Filmed in the era of Miami Vice, and the style of it is very similar. Hardly surprising though, with Michael Mann in charge!

Heat - with Robert De Niro and Al Pacino...

on DVD is awesome turned up full at the gun fight scene. Need good speakers though! But, one of the best movies ever. 3 Hours of pure class.
