Come on people, what else can you do except making the basic Static speed cameras ineffective? Lets face it, its the camera vans that cause the real headache! I think its time to stir up it up and get the general public feeling like its a major nuisance issue.

If it is in a layby, you are quite within your rights to park there, to have the recommended break from driving. Just make sure you dont have illegal tyres or half a kilo of cocain in the glovebox first.

problem is you would need to be in a transit van or something as the cameras are mounted high in the police vans. either that or get a add on 4 foot extension to the rear wing :-)

Tried this with the local scamera the other night for a laugh (the camera was in a parking space next to a beach front road so I parked in front of it). They got a patrol car down and threatened me with obstructing an officer of the law.

I happened to have a friend whos a solicitor with me so that was a bad move. He told them they didn't have a leg to stand on and to go and get some donuts...They ended up moving the camera to the other side of the car
