You know what the worst thing about this is? It's actually a criminal offence to warn people about a speed enforcement unit, with the possibility of a fine and points. Sick or what?

Pervating the cause of justice i think but also obstructing a police man in the course of his duty?

Should rename traffic section as a department of the inland revenue more accurate. i wonder if you can do them under the trades description act as mis-selling a service?

still must be reassuring processing all those fines knowing you are dealing with the cause of 7% of accidents and ignoring the 93% of other reasons.

I have just read my own posting how much my attitude has changed to the police in the last 5 years is really frightening.

If there are police cars with it, its more likely to be ANPR.

Nothing to do with speed... they're pulling over people with dodgy DVLA details.

that makes more sense Burr, catching road tax evaders ect, it was a plain white van with no markings.

The other van I have seen on the`M11 had a police crest thing on the side.

Pulling tax evaders over in my opinion as a good thing as I bet most without tax discs have no mot or valid insurance either.

Question

so stopping people with dodgy v5's no tax and / or no insurance is a waste of time ?

I don't think most drivers will agree with you APN70.

I think 3 x volvo v70 a mercedes 4x4 thing and 3 panda cars was abit excessive for the task, maybe they were expecting a big haul.

Or maybe it was the Parkside Police station summer picnic !!!.
