I use Snooper S5 and find it handy coz it detects camera and the radar giving me enough warning.I know that there are other models which are more efficient but it depends upon how much you wanna spend on it too.

Laser alert is pretty pointless. Once you've been targeted by the laser your speed is registered in 0.1 sec or something like that. So the laser alert just tells you that you've already been done, doesn't give you time to do anything about it. Also scatter from lasers is minimal so you're not likely to pick up the signal while they're targetting the guy 5 cars in front.

Only real defence against lasers seems to be the jammers and their legality is doubtful. But what the hell?? Go for it.

I've got a geodesy which is GPS based, the same priciple as the Road Angel, and it's excellent. All the GPS based devices seem to be as good as each other so just pick the one that you like the look of.

I whole heartedly agree with Chelspeed. All GPS based units are good, I use the Snooper S6 R Neo and think it is good. As I have said so many times, nothing will detect VASCAR or the mobile vans which use microwave technology, so think about fitting a surface to van misile system too!
