Anyone got any tips for fitting quarter glass in car door?

Got quarterlight in car door smashed last week (1990 Merc E-class) - got new bit of glass now, and am going to try to fit it myself.....
Anyone got any tips? It is just a rubber seal - is it easy to do?

find a windscreen repairman, they are usually found sitting on flyovers, drinking tea, and bung him a tenner to do it.(cash)
if i did that for a living, i'd take a tenner of someone for 10 mins work.
Plus they have the tools and knowledge.
just what i'd do, thats all.
