Has anyone got experience of taking (hypothetically of course!!) Clenbuterol?
Been reading up on the side effects etc but would like to know whether it works, how quick it works and what side effects I could expect to have?!.....All hypothetically of course!!
Cheers

Nice big golf ball size yellow head spots all over your back, hows that for a side effect.
At least that is what I have seen of guys who have been on gear!
(Slight exaggeration in size here)

Lisa, why would you be hypothetically taking it?
My advice, *especially* to a woman, would be to avoid it. I can give you more details if you're serious about this.

Well, it's kinda a question for my partner. He's looking to get rid of his fat quicker while training but it's tempting for me cause if you lose fat a quick as his mates reckon, the side effects may be worth it!!
BTW, I am excersising but i'm impatient!!

Everyone is different but I would stay away from any of these crazy pills, I go to the gym all the time and my friend wanted to loose loads of weight, I went with him to a body building shop and we both ending up buying what the local body builders use to get ready for competitions think it had in or was called Creatine ??Spelling. It was advised not to take them after dinnertime 3PM latest.
Possible side affects ( Definite )
Trouble sleeping
Constantly light headed
Short tempered
Very Angry
Totally FCUKED

Ok, i see. Well, you *can* do it that way, but decide whether potential;
impotency
acne
premature baldness
oily skin
aggressiveness
heart attack
also make this worth it. In my opinion, if steroids *are* going to be used, they should only be done temporarily whilst preparing for a contest, and only then under expert advice/supervision.
They are NOT a healthy substitute for a long term training and diet regime, no matter how appealing the short term benefits appear to be.

A (male) friend of mine had major surgery last year to remove what are commonly known as... "Bitch ****."
A long time ago I used oral Dianobol (sp?). Did wonders for my training and gaining muscle mass... But nearly lost me all my friends!
STAY AWAY FROM STEROIDS.

Hmmmm. Well, that's thrown a completely different light on matters! I'll make sure he knows the side effects and I'm going to steer clear. I was only a bit tempted anyway. There is never a simple option!! Diet and excersise is the only way I guess

massively increased risk of heart attack - the heart muscle stays it's current size and just ends up giving in under the strain (my aunt has worked in a&e for years and says she has lost count of the number of people between 30 and 40 coming in after suffering massiv coronaries - many don't make it.
worth the risk? you decide .......

I would not even consider steroids for losing fat. They tend to give you a lot of water retention and so would give you the appearance of being fatter. People I know have done gear then had to take Diuretics (don't know if I spelled that correctly)etc to become more defined. Diuretics also being highly dangerous.

do research somewhere other than the virtual pub that is SN!
if steroids do half the things they are said to do then many top class athelites would be dead (also the tour de france would be very quiet)
doesnt mean do them but dont assume that typing steroid into goggle will make your ***** fall off.

pps- not what the original post was about i know!

Tiggs, they *do* do all the things they're "supposed" to do. Some in only small doses, some only in excess.
But like all these things, it's a case of moderation vs abuse.
We all know 90 year olds who have smoked packets of cigarettes per day, or eaten bread and dripping all their lives.
It's just a case of making people aware so that they can make informed decisions, and weigh up the risks/rewards.

When a bloke overdoses on steroids, the excess testosterone turns into estrogen, the female hormone. Which means blokes can develop breast tissue. And it's irreversible, it requires surgery to remove.
Having seen it a few times, i can honestly say it's an absolutely appalling sight. The only thing on your mind is "is it really worth that?"

red-dog, yes, it supresses your appetite and encourages mobilization of fat, some people say its anabolic, some do not.
I lost about 6 lbs on it but didnt gain muscle. It gave me the shakes (hands) now and again. I didnt get a great deal out of it considering the sides and i had to pay for it!
ps it's not a hormone so u wont get spots/bitch ****/or turn into chewbacca.

i`'ve been told that hydroxycut is good for fat burning and giving you a boost for the gym. from what i've read is that it does'nt contain ephadrine(sp) caffine and asprin anyymore so it should be safer. could be wrong though
