full licence with start date on- you can drive from that date-unless someone knows different. If a retest was required then they would have issued a provisional again surely?

Either they didnt order re sit- or someone in the system has ballsed it up.....

Far as i know you can drive as soon as you walk out the test centre (as long as your insured to & passed!!!)... I did. It was 7 years ago but I haven't heard any different.
