As above.Do i need to install new software? if so is it expensive and whats it called?
Im trying windows media player xp but its telling me i havnt got the right sumat! ive never played dvd on my pc before.Ive got a seperate loading tray on the tower with dvd wrote on it so i should be able to shouldnt i?

You need a DVD player to start with

try doing a search for software like WinDVD.

i always found playing dvds on the pc a little hit and miss, some would work some wouldnt. make sure all your drivers for the dvd drive are up to date.
