My GF reckons washing with your mush with a flannel and NO soap is the way to a clear complexion. Never bothered myself, I find sqeezing zits quite theraputic.

drink loads and loads and loads of water
exfoliate
moisturise
dont use soap

They will help for starters

If you look after your skin it will show.
If you dont then it also shows

Jamie- Go to Boots, get hold of a glass bottle(size and shape of lipstick)called T ZONE.

It contains Tea tree oil and you apply it by way of a roller ball.

It's fánnytastic if you have either oily skin or a spot you want to kill.

If things are that bad - big green & yellow spots - go and see your doctor he will presribe some antibiotics.

Another thing - I always notice a major complexion improvement when I am on holiday, not immediateley as I think all the sweating brings out the spots - but after a week - marvellous - all gone.

Why not try a sunbed a couple of nights a week? - dont batter it though - I'd rather have zits than look like some Peter Stringfellow wannabee.

Go to your GP and get a referral to a specialist. I did with my acne and was presribed a demon drug, the name of which escapes me right now, cleared it all up to my satisfaction. Anything else will just tackle the symptoms , you need to be treated for the cause of your acne.

How's your diet? Balanced diet and drinking loads of water will help, as will not picking them.

Imagine how dirty your fingernails are and every time you pick a spot you're scrunching that dirt into OTHER pores on your skin - hence the appearance of more spots.

Tea Tree Oil is supposed to be good...a friend of mine really got on well with Oxy10? I think it's called and Witch Hazel as well has antibacterial properties.

Low dose of erythromycin antibiotics for up to 6 mths is supposed to work.

But I've got creams and liquids with it all in, and they don't seem to do much.

As already said, its what you put inside your body that affects what happens outside.
Loads of fruit, water, good NON FRIED food. Tea tree is excellent. It dries up the area it is applied to and has a healing effect.
Fresh air is good too. NOt just UV rays but just basic good old fashioned fresh air.

Red face

Someone told me once that Urine (Your own) was good for spots.
Was told to pee in a jar and apply with a cotton bud.

Not Sure if they were taking the **** so never tried it.

I used to get little villages of the buggers around my chin.

Drink a couple of litres of water a day and use an exfoliater(spl).

It worked for me.

If your 18, you'll probly find dipping your chin in milk & letting the cat lick it off is less painful than shaving
