LOL at gramps, well seeing as frocks are quite airy I doubt that will help me, and I wear harris tweed tartan troos anyway.
While were on the subject of what we wear pete, are incontinence pads hot in this weather?
Seriously, the hammock in the garden is looking quite tasty atm

I do this on holiday when things are a bit thermic, though I am usually well stewed - I have a cold shower and get in bed soaking wet, ok, you wake up an hour later thinking you have damped down - but at least your cool

Me too, it is about 4 feet from the bed and leave it on slow or medium settings, i hardly notice it at all, use it downstairs in the evening so you kinda get used to the noise, it is almost silent and quite soothing in a way.
Got it from a Tesco supastore last summer for around £ 15.00, worth every penny!

not really, maybe radical for the uk , I find the muggy atmosphere more of a pain than the heat - but when your in some far flung meditteranean sh1thole it works a treat.
