Looking for a 2 seater sofabed for my lounge, not too expensive but not bottom of the range cheapo stuff, upto a max of £500 really. The couple of places I have been to locally have just 1 product for sale and range from 1 @ £160 to 1 @ £800 and they are hideous, basically went to the places on my local industrial estate and there was just no range/choice really.
Anyone know of somewhere that actually sells sofabeds in the south east/on the web that arnt hideously expensive. The one place I went to that did have a range was furniture warehouse and was far too expensive starting at £700
I have found this place so far http://www.sofabed.co.uk/ but would like some alternative choices if possible.
Cheers

Cheers Red, I know its always a place to look as they sell just about everything but I have had such a rough time with stuff I have bought from them before, anything from toys to furniture, has always been broken/damaged in one way or another.
Totally put me off buying anything from them anymore as its just a waste of time as it always ends up going back for a refund and I have to go else where.
Will take a look though just incase I am missing bargain of the year!

There's also a specialist sofabed shop just over the river, with loads of them in stock - either Hornchurch or Upminister IIRC. I think they call theselves "the sofa bed shop" or something similar.

Do make sure you actually sit on it before parting with any cash - there are some really saggy, uncomfortable ones out there. I have one myself - mail ordered to save some cash - and it's caused me several years of disappointment and discomfort.
New sofa was ordered at the weekend, from Ikea - who had the most comfy sofa I could find ('Karlanda', which incidentally also comes in a sofabed version) despite an extensive search including some much more expensive models.
Andy.

We got a sofa bed from Argos, ordered it just before Christmas. Most unimpressed with the delivery - it arrived by half past eight on the morning of the day they said they would deliver - and I took time off work
We were most impressed with the sofa bed, and the delivery was excellent - the guys even got it through a door that wasn't big enough, thanks to some expert removal of the sofabed feet and the door handle!!
Only problem we had was trying to get a swatch so we could check we liked the colour - first time we ordered one, the swatch envelope arrived pretty much next day - with a slip inside saying that they were out of stock of that swatch, and we'd have to reorder one - why they couldn't just wait til they were back in stock is beyond me!
