It's safe.

Just for those that can't get the news ( Little Miss WRX ) or haven't heard, Laura Sadler died last night.

My thoughts are with her friends and family. It seems that maybe drugs played apart in her death. It's a tragic waste of a young life

Sad loss of life

Not surprised the boyfriend didn't have the bottle to be there when they switched off the machine

Yeah, real shame, especially if drugs were involved.

Also spooky how she played a part in Grangehill in which she died from jumping/falling from a building.

Got a source for this? It's the first time I've seen it mentioned.

It was widely reported yesterday. I still take it all with a pinch of salt but here's one report.

Well, it was certainly mentioned on all of the major news cast yesterday except for the BBC who seems to be keeping a respectable distance.

She was local girl and I sort of knew her through friends and saw her in local pubs etc.

I don't believe the drugs bit, but you never know and for ITN etc to mention that they must have some proof.

Also Boyfriend was not there due to the fact family wouldn't let him see her as they consider him to blame.

Feel sorry for the family and close friends :-(

Drugs were implicated in here death. She had been drinking Vodka ( a lot) and had taken a modest amount of cocaine according to various sources. Some even tried to imply she "thought she could fly" in typical scaremongering fashion.

It seems it was just a tragic accident that could happen to any of us. I really feel for her boyfriend and family.

The ambulance technician didn't ought to have been mentioning anything at all about the incident. Didn't she sign a patient confidentiality paper when she joined?!

Anyway, very sad whatever the circumstances.

Wouldn't have thought she could have said anything her injuries were that servere.

Perhaps we should have some respect as there are people out there that have lost a daughter, girlfriend and friend.

Us discussing speculation lowers us to the level of the gutter media

Sorry just my humble opinion

Anyone working for the NHS agrees to patient confidentiality, it's in your employment contract.

A tragic waste of a young life, my thoughts are with her family and friends

A sad loss of life, and a sad loss of a good actress.
I grew up in the Jimmy Hendrix, Brian Jones, Janis Joplin era when star excess often led to premature death. These days people in general are so much more aware of the dangers that even amongst the general public, with the rise of drug culture, such cases make greater impact.

If coke is involved then you've got to be prepared to take the pain if you play the game.

Hi Guys,

Not being funny but lets have a little bit of respect shall we...comments like you play the game and take the pain etc are well out of order.

None of us on this board are saints and even if the poor girl took drugs does it really matter, she was still a great talent and a young lady who at 22 had a long life ahead of her.
