lol johnny vegas, i seen him more in rehashed shows on tv that pour praise on old programmes, ie best of 80's etc, than anything comedic he supposed to be in. A poor mans Peter Kaye.

When he first broke onto the scene he seemed vaguely amusing, but mostly because his north-country yob character was such an extreme contradiction to his glitzy name, but it soon became apparant that his act was very thin and repetitive, tiresome and clichéd. Like most people now, I groan out loud when I discover he's booked onto a show, but thankfully, this is becoming rarer.

I have to admit that I rather like him
I thought he was great on the Jonathon Ross show, mainly because he was so unpredictable and kept going off on a tangent.
Then again I have been told that I look like a thinner Johnny Vegas

I thought he WAS funny last night, but the comment about being a "poor mans Peter Kaye" hits the nail on the head for me.
