Do they ever run on time.
I have been travelling to and from london to penrith every weekend over the past 9 months. On about 1 occassion the thing has been on time. worst 4 hrs late . normaly at least 1/2 hr . last time 1 and 3/4 late

Is it just me getting on the cr@ppy train.

I used one to go from paddington to north wales a few weeks ago, and it was nearly 1hr late. Blamed it on the incoming service from manchester.

There is a virgin train that runs late everymorning from manchester to london, supposed to get to MK at 6.57am, as it's always late it gets "retimed" as a 7.15 - even then it's usually 15 minutes later
