Question

What's them camera thingies on the bridge? One facing on each lane? Also 3 facing the S'bound traffic?

Look like speed cameras but no warning signs & not painted yellow

How long they 'bin there? Never noticed 'em b4 if a while

Automatic Number Plate Recognition?

Possibly indeed ( ) - didn't know there are FIXED sites in the UK though - usually seen as part of a white van with open side doors & tripods...

Puff,

they are also on the M42 just North on the Warwick (J15) turnoff, and the M6, just South of Stafford (J13) turnoff to mention but a few.

When active (most of the time these days ) they trigger my Bel990i laser alert!

Heck, they will be tracking individual cars for congestion charging purposes next

Not sure what they are, but I go through them regularly at speeds I shouldn't and haven't received any mail from plod.
