But seriously companies house do have a web site http://www.companieshouse.gov.uk/ which is quite informative but i am not sure if they can do exactly what you want

just tried my own name in the search and nothing came up so you cant search for individual directors

I have tried companies house. I can find some info if I know the company name, not from the directors name

If you search a company, it will list the directors and tell you how many other companies they are directors of, but not which companies, IIRC

They will give you the info you want although you will have to pay a fee (a few quid I think)
