Question

Got anything like a Makro nearby? You'd also need to know someone with a card.

ALDi do some good rip off stuff. Buy some if only for the amusing names that are only slightly altered from the original in order to blatantly flout the copyright laws!

They do a 'Ballycastle' Bailey's rip off that is pretty good, for about £2 a bottle I think. Bargain.

Got a small brewery near you? Go and buy a couple of barrels. I did this for Mrs K's 40th and we all (120 of us but not all drinking beer) got completely w@ankered for about £2 a head.

Cheers

Makro is right next door to my office. It's rare that it's any cheaper than my local Bargain Booze. Usually, by the time you've added VAT it's more than BB or the offers in Tesco (like the Carlsberg).
