I thought it was a fantastic film.
In fact, I'm off to see Eminem, Xzibit, 50 Cent, Cypress Hill and co on the Anger Management Tour in Milton Keynes this month too

Its an awesome film... some amazing lyrics... Put it on Subtitles..... it makes the whole thing a lot clearer and you can then appreciate the lyrical content!
I love it... especially the bonus material on the DVD when he battles the girl!!

very good portrayal of the beginnings of His life, shame it wasn't longer
sort of finished a bit abruptly...
would have liked to have seen him get the music contract.. and get out of that **** hole.
well put together.

are you kidding? i only made out about 1 in every 200 words...and that wasnt even when they are rapping!
just a film about a bunch of no hoppers with no respect for anything, them selves, their neighbouhood, each other.
cant see that his next step was to get a contract? surley his next step was to get his own trailer and live like 99.9999999% of people in his situation will live.
for every eminem there are a zillion that dont make it...and its not like sport where at least they get fit trying!

Yep I enjoyed it, agree with Fuzz I would like the film to follow his life upto getting his big break, the mc battle at the end where he 'disses' himself so the other guy has got nothing to say is truly awesome.

Everyone one was raving about 8 Mile - so I bought it the other night and watch it Friday.
The story is the same as Teenwolf - swapping basketball and hair for rapping and trailer parks. In 5 years time we'll look back on the film and think it long in the tooth

Watched it tonight and really enjoyed it but I can't imagine anyone who doesn't like his music enjoying it at all. There were a couple of words I didn't pick up during the film, but I probably had it on a little loud

Fantastic - saw it on Saturday and loved it. Even the wife, who can't listen to Eminem for very long, thought it an eye opener and enjoyable.
I was genuinely surprised by his acting talent; he was actually acting...
I can't imagine it without Eminem playing the lead though.

Not bad. Eminem is a suprisingly good actor! Wasn't as good as I thought it would be BUT decidedly better than 28 Days Later!!! (or whatever the pile of poo is called)

how anyone can watch the scene where the car worker lass starts to "rap" at the tuckbox van without laughing their butt off is beyond me!
even more staggering is that when "rabbit chops" responds with some lyrical genius like "look at your boots....they is growin roots...yo...yo....hear this.....boyakasha" (or similar) it turns the girl on so much she demands sex up against some steel right there!

Great film IMO. And thats speaking as a 30 something..LOL...
I understood every word and fail to see what all the complaints are about..
Maybe us Scots have a better ear for language that isn't "Queen's English" spoken with mouth full of marbles........
Or maybe I've just got a more open mind than some

i suppose its good for the lowlife kids to see something to aspire to though...you know, dump your pregnat girlfriend, get a dead end job, have unprotected sex, wreck the neighbourhood, be rude to your folks....unless they win at bingo!

Great film and i reckon the guy has amazing talent and looked every bit the film star. Would never have known it was his first go at it.
Hopefully he will make another one showing the next bit of his life.
