Bizarre request I know but my initial searches online havent come up with much. I have a Delonghi fryer and the current filter is minging. Any ideas?

Get stuck into it with some elbow grease if it a stainless steel filter. I boiled mine, used some Mr Muscle cleaner (soaked overnight) and then scrubbed it using washing up liquid, got it looking like new.

Comet's phone order service came up trumps with my delonghi fryer
Can't find the number at the moment but i'm sure 118118 will have it
