It's like this.
I've got these 2 t-shirts that I bought in the sales a couple of years ago and they fit just perfect. Not tight, not baggy, not too long...Just right. Fit like a glove. I love 'em.
But there starting to look a bit knackered, are approaching the 'wear around the house only' stage.
It's sad. Feels like I'm losing a couple of pals.
So I got to thinking, do you think it's possible I could give this t-shirt to anyone who could make a pattern of it and make a couple of new ones for me? Has anyone ever done this? Am I indeed a sad barsteward?
What do you reckon?
Possible or not?

Hello
Are you telling me that out of the millions of T-shirts you can't find others that fit?
Do they have sentimental value? Did you lose your virginity whilst wearing one?
Steve.

Leave me alone ya bully
What I'm saying is we all have a favourite piece of clothing, something that feels just right. It's a subjective sort of experience! These particular t-shirts make me feel comfortable!
Look I'm not trying to get of crack or anything

I was asked to do this by my fella, which I accordingly did , he was delighted........ so was his monkey, y'know the one from the sky ads? it was for him after all.... he wanted a red tee shirt making and then we had to transfer the words "Smack me" onto the back of it !!
Seriously, even if someone were to make you a couple of tee shirts to the smae pattern.. chances are they still wouldn't be exactly the same. The fabric has to be spot on and the old tees have probably shrunk and stretched to be just right. That takes years of washing and wear and love !

I'm not sure what this says about my personality but I've also got a pair of Nikes I bought in the States. The most perfect pair of trainers ever. Full stop. The soles have come of them now, I can't wear 'em and I should bin 'em...But I can't cause I still love 'em.

Probably this tee-shirt is made of rubber easy to wipe down even if it does look a bit fruity.
Anyway, I hear they have quite a lot of sex in Northampton?
As for the Tee shirt, cant't you just unpick the stitches - cut out the same shape - then stich it up again.

you can get special "iron-on" paper for the printer.
my son makes his own t-shirts from designs on the net and then irons them on to a plain one from gap or somewhere.
looks very good.
... one reason he doesn't get misty eyed for the good 'ol days when the best you could get was a plastic roger dean logo

ps aren't cap-sleeved tee shirts a bit out of date, anyway????

Andrew, you ask what all this says about you ? It just says you are built for comfort not for speed....nothing wrong in that. You'd be suprised what percentage of the population hate change !
