... but I have found some speed cameras that I am in favour of.
I like to have an "enthusiastic" drive on the open road, but always stick to the limit in the 30s and 40s. However, it seems the rest of the driving population doesn't and I hate it when everyone is sat inches off your tail, only to be left behind when you reach the national speed limit signs.
Anyway, I digress. This weekend, I popped back up to Nottingham (moved down south a year or two ago) to see the parents, and drove round the ring road, under the watchful eye of the Specs cameras. It was a really nice experience, as everyone was sticking to the speed limit - so I could drive along without getting paranoid about being seen as an old duffer who doesn't go over 30!
However, before the flaming starts, I have to say that the remainder of the cameras are a pain in the bottom and should be knocked down

What with this and the "trucks shake my house" thread, does this mean speed cameras will be responsible for inventing the OIMBY phenomenon? (Only In My Back Yard)
