When I was a kid I remember my next door neighbours brother buying DSOTM it was a gatefold sleeve and in the middle of the gatefold was the rainbow from the prism black background and a naked woman lying on her back with the rainbow then re-emerging from her foot, as a 6 year old that sort of things sticks but no one apart from one of the guys I work with has ever seen this and he only vaguely remembers it.

Everytime I have seen a gatefold copy I have always checked to see if it had the naked lady but I have never seen another and I have seen many copys at record fairs and boot fairs, I believe to be an original pressing and original artwork, yesterday I bought the 30th anniversary edition on SACD and the booklet has photos of original artwork from the various releases of this album and this picture wasnt there.

Has anyone else seen this was I dreaming or is it as rare as hens teeth, was it deemed offensive and withdrawn?? like the original artwork for Queens fat bottomed girls.

Someone put me out of my misery

Just checked mine. Rainbow and prism only. Deffo. no naked woman. The Jimi H. album next to it on the shelf is covered in naked women though
