Many people are under the misconception that the Turbosport uploader is broken or 'fecked' so.........
Taken from Turbosport
The UPLOADER has been restricted to SCINETPARTNERS customers only we are undergoing a transition on our network and will be losing 50% of our bandwidth for a while until we have a new router in place.
I am unsure of exactly how I will make the uploader work from then on as we are going onto a cost per 1mb and the uploader peaks at 3mb for most of the day our cost for this will be over £500 per month
The service has always been free and run using our spare resources so the only option's I have is to stop the service or charge for it and I don’t really want to have the hassle of making it a pay service and I am not sure that webmasters would pay anyway.
When the fog clears I will reassess the situation and there is a possibility to create a more secure script to stop the many sites that have been uploading the files then direct linking to them and using them on other non authorised sites and reducing the file size to say 50k.
Regards
Clint
