What a bloody awful programme. Clarkson must be the champion arsehole of all time. His entire act is based on exaggeration – “it’s slower than Henry VIII, you can play football on the dashboard” – etc., and his inconsistencies are astounding. Shortly after complaining that the Smart’s gear change took ages to produce any effect, he was praising its responsiveness! I hate the smug ex public schoolboy that he is. When the Scoob comes up in this series does anyone think it will receive an objective review? Dream on. I’m just pleased that Tiff Needell & Co are now off to a rival programme where there is some proper analysis of what’s good or bad about a car.

entertained me, sorry, love my cars but I see it as a laugh, it is not really a reality car programme. He (Clarkson) admits freely that his opinions mean p!ss all and will slag a car off, even if it is great, because he feels like it, fair play to him. He gets to drive the best cars in the world and gets paid for it, slate them or not, don't be too bothered by his opinion, just be entertained, or not, who cares, the show is pretty funny.

I guess its like anything, its all about content, personally I like the show but thought last nights episode was a bit pants.

Nice to see fat boy has gone although the irritating little poison dwarf is still there unfortunately.

I loved it - ok so he doesnt do as much on the cars as they could but theyve changed the genre and made it a chat show / motoring show. Theyve got rid of fatty and that new James May geezer is highly amusing and very confident. That little snotty jumped up **** is still annoying though.
