got caught by a gatso, lancaster (torrisholme,a6) didnt bother slowing down cos id seen it already , got done for 34mph, anyway ,lancs costab have given me the option of the speed awareness course, anyone been on it? They want me to take the car i was done in! Think it will be amusing when i pull up in my 94 wrx wagon!!
btw, the course only cost £75 (£15 less than the fine, and i dont get the points..)
p.s. clean licence since 1989.

well i would take it but hink of the fuel how long does the awareness course last 4?

Ciaran,is a 1 day course in leyland, lancs ( about 45 mins away from me) 11am- 6pm, lots of theory but a practical as well!!, hope we get a go in the skid- pan!!

I got caught out on Barton road Lancaster with the camera in the back of the people carrier doing 35 mph. So how did they let you know about the course? I bet i'll just get the fine.
It's loads better than a 60 quid fine and 3 points getting to go around skid pan for the day!(cough,cough, even though i would learn about the error in my ways)

Yeah KaraK tell me about it,the blooming thing was on the A6 the other day near Lancaster Uni.Luckily i was going the back way home

gah... making me even more nervous! Being new to the scoob I've not quite got the hang of sitting it at 30 in town yet, sometimes I find myself doing 35.

Thank god there are the back roads or we'd never have any fun!
