Producers - Do you have to take them to the station stated on them?

I have to produce my insurance certificate and counterpart to the drvinging licence.
When I was asked which station I said Rickmansworth now this was before I discovered this about Ricmansworth police station:
Opening hours:
Mon - Fri: 10am - 6pm
Closed between 1pm and 2pm.
Saturday/Sunday: closed
So that is handy as I work no where near the station and I have to produce them by Saturday!

Just to say that my brain engaged and I phoned up the police, the internet does have some handy things on it, and found out I can go to any police station I wish!
