I am having a new house built for me in the new year, and as its a new build i want to take advantage of this,
so any advice of what to have built into the house would be welcome,
I am thinking along the line of :-
Home PC Network,
TV, Phone Points in every room,
Lighting,
Piped music in every room,
Security
etc.. etc....
Has anyone added thinks like this to their house that they could recommend, or point me to and good websites for this kind of thing,
Obviously planning and adding these things as the house is being built will save a fortune.
Thanks in advance

I got bored and did a Cat5e network in my house and linked every room up to our broadband connection. Also did TV points while I was at it.
Got most of the network cable, sockets, patch panel, rack etc at http://www.netshop.co.uk and the router, switch etc at http://www.ebuyer.com
In progress....
Done... (several miles of mini trunking later)

You won't believe how many people have asked me why I have a microwave with blinking lights attached to the wall!
Its only a matter of time before I find a frozen curry in there :-P
