I'm after a 32 inch tv but saw this on ebay :

http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&item=3019221588

(Sorry don't know how to make this link clicky)

This is just a little more expensive than a 32". What would you do ?

They come with 5 months warranty, but the user doesn't have an awful lot of feedback and some are not complimentary.

It's a risk, imho.

Not sure where you stand but they appear to be a company selling new goods so i would have thought 1 year was the law?!?

It appears cheap although i would shop around, as for 'cosmetic scratches', you are taking a bit of a gamble IMHO what happens if the cosmetic scratch or mark is on the tube?

Terzo - to find out how to do something, click the EDIT icon above the user's post.

To make a clicky link, type the following :

[ url=http://www.website.com]Text here[ /url ]

(without the spaces)

That then becomes Text here

Would i buy it........NO....doesnt feel right.

1.No other bids
2.With a tv i'd want to see the pic first
3.A lot of companies sell returns through legit outlets...ie digit.
4.Is it really 1899 new?

£1k-£1100 is the general price for that TV (or at least it was 6-12months ago) as a graded unit. I think the new stock sells for about £1300-1400 now.

BTW - found 'em for £ 1299.00 from a retailer, model been around for a while - 09/01 and appears to be discontinued so old stock and should be discounted.
