ok got this camera wicked bit of kit had it a while, never been a problem before but when ya take pics takes a few secs to take the pic after holding button down, but... tomorrow im off to castle coombe race track and that will be no good i need instant pics as soon as press button, how do i set it up?????????

tried turnin off the AF in menu which i presume is auto focus but still takes a few secs

I,m in the same situation as you,would also like it to take quicker pics..BTTT

try using the "shooting continuously" mode (page 51 in the manual)
this allows you to take 2.5 images per second while holding the shutter button down, but you can still use it in the normal way just by pressing the shutter button once
